Bubble Tea in Bern - A detour for a bubble tea is never a mistake

I hadn't had a bubble tea since arriving in Switzerland 4 days prior. Finding a place was on my list to do but there were no bubble tea places in Gimmelwald nor one town up in Murren. Bern was the last opportunity to find bubble tea before heading to the airport for my journey back to London.

I googled for bubble tea in Bern and CHA Yii was one of three places which came up first. CHA Yii was a short walk from the Bern train station. Yay!!! It was meant to be. An easy decision now to detour for bubble tea in Bern before heading to the airport.

I found CHA Yii with no problem. The hardest part was deciding which drink to chose. Matcha Milk Tea was in their Top 16. This is usually one of my go to flavor. I saw one interesting choice called "Hello Kenting". The ingredient included passion fruit with coconut jelly. I decided to go with Hello Kenting as not sure when I would have such an opportunity for this unique drink. I ordered the drink with 20% sugar. Initially, I had asked for 10% but was recommended 20% was best. The folks working there was on the mark. They did offer to add more tea if I was not happy. The verdict: Good choice and definitely a repeat place to go to. I devoured the whole drink on the train ride to the airport.

What a nice way to end my trip to Switzerland. And so nice to know they have good bubble tea places here too. Thank you CHA Yii!.
